USBN Digital Platform
How Trevor Opiyo LLC supports the United States Basketball Network as Official Technology Developer.
Trevor Opiyo LLC serves as Official Technology Developer for the United States Basketball Network, a professional basketball media network and sports platform preparing for the 2026 United States Basketball Championship Champion League.
The work is not just a website refresh. USBN needs a digital ecosystem that can support teams, players, fans, league operations, media, and commerce as the organization grows.
Product Scope
The USBN platform spans mobile and web experiences built around the league’s daily operating needs:
- Team and player surfaces for fans to follow the league.
- Schedules, standings, statistics, and leaderboards.
- News publishing and league storytelling.
- USBNtv content discovery and video-forward fan engagement.
- Ticketing, memberships, shop paths, partner surfaces, and contact flows.
- Static export and deployment workflows for the public web experience.
Technical Work
The current USBN app is an Expo Router application designed for iOS, Android, and web. Trevor Opiyo LLC’s role centers on turning the league’s business model into durable product infrastructure:
- Building React Native and web screens for league, team, shop, membership, news, and USBNtv experiences.
- Integrating content data from Strapi-backed snapshots and public runtime configuration.
- Supporting deployment workflows for static web export and native app builds.
- Creating data surfaces that keep schedules, teams, players, standings, and media usable across platforms.
Business Value
USBN is building a sports platform around visibility, organization, and community impact. The technology strategy supports that by giving the league a central place to connect teams, players, fans, sponsors, and media.
For Trevor Opiyo LLC, the USBN engagement demonstrates the core business focus: software that connects product delivery with operational reality.
